Agreement

By using Parallel Lives ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

What the Service Does

Parallel Lives is a decision-making tool that uses AI to generate hypothetical future scenarios based on your input. The Service includes:

• Decision tree visualization
• AI-powered scenario analysis
• Personal journaling features
• Voice-to-text transcription

Not Professional Advice

The AI-generated scenarios are for informational purposes only. They are not financial, legal, medical, or professional advice. Always consult qualified professionals for important decisions.

No Guarantees

AI predictions are hypothetical. We make no guarantees about accuracy, completeness, or outcomes. The future is unpredictable and our simulations are educated guesses at best.

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for decisions you make. Parallel Lives is a thinking tool, not a decision-maker.

Your Content

Ownership

You own the content you create (decisions, journal entries, etc.). We don't claim ownership of your personal content.

License to Us

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content through AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Deepgram) to provide the features you use. We don't use your content to train AI models.

Prohibited Content

Don't use the Service for:

• Illegal activities
• Harassment or harm to others
• Spam or automated abuse
• Circumventing rate limits or security measures

Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By using Parallel Lives, you confirm you meet this age requirement. If you're under 18, you should have parental consent.

Free & Paid Plans

Parallel Lives offers both free and paid tiers:

• Free tier: Basic features at no cost, no payment required
• Premium (Monthly): Recurring subscription billed monthly
• Premium (Yearly): Recurring subscription billed annually at a discounted rate
• Lifetime: One-time payment for permanent premium access

Payments & Billing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By purchasing a subscription or lifetime access:

• You authorize us to charge your payment method for the selected plan
• Subscriptions automatically renew until you cancel
• You can cancel anytime through your account settings or Stripe Customer Portal
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• Prices may change with 30 days notice for existing subscribers

Refunds

• Monthly subscriptions: 7-day refund window from purchase date
• Yearly subscriptions: 14-day refund window from purchase date
• Lifetime access: 14-day refund window from purchase date

To request a refund, contact us at chris@developerbranded.com. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Account & Access

• You're responsible for keeping your account secure
• We may suspend accounts that violate these terms
• We may limit features or access at our discretion
• Rate limits exist to prevent abuse

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties
• We're not liable for decisions you make based on AI output
• We're not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or errors
• Our total liability is limited to fees you've paid us (if any)

Service Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We'll try to provide notice for significant changes, but can't guarantee it.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your data at any time. We can terminate your access for violations of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
